Maarten van Doorn thanks for reading!

Its totally understandable that after a while people can hit walls after traveling for a long time — I’ve met a lot of people on my travels that have been doing for extended periods, some love it, some are ready to find a more stable, steady routine! Personally, I am only able for now to do travel stints, and this has worked out great for me.

I believe that there is no ultimate reason for solo traveling, as everyone has different ones. But I would say that the growth a person experiences from doing so, and the experience itself is pretty powerful. Its certainly something I can look back on one day and think ‘I did that’, instead of wondering ‘what if’.

I do believe we can have deep connections with those we meet, in my opinion it depends what you yourself are looking for and what energy we give off — the law of attraction as they call it!

I’m curious to know, did you actively seek out deep connections and initiate those kinds of conversations?
